I'm glad you took the time out of your day to learn more about me and who I am and what I bring to the table.
I am a Computer Engineering Technology student of SUNY Polytechnic Institute who does not have much on his plate but hopes and is working hard to in order to bring positive change and innovation to the field. My interests lie in computer hardware as well as sound and audio design and engineering, as I am learning audio engineering and production.
With that in mind, my biggest interests lie in music. I absolutely love listening, analyzing, and interpreting music. My most favorite artist of all time is The Weeknd, as I have been an avid fan of his music since the release of his Starboy album back in 2016. My favorite band, on the other hand, is Pierce the Veil. Other than listening to music, I also started to learn how to play the electric guitar. I also love playing video games, consuming various mediums related to the horror genre, photography, and cooking.
My biggest short to medium term goal is to graduate with my degree. I had a rocky start because of the set back COVID gave me and my sophomore of high school to sophomore of college career but I know I can easily overcome that. I also have the goals of mastering some forms of audio engineering and production to be able to mix, master, and make music for myself or others in the near future as well as explore various positions and opportunities for my computer engineering career. My long term goal is to land a job related to hardware engineering and audio, like a job in a company that develops or researches audio devices, or work in a startup or even corporation that contributes to bettering the world with new innovations and technology that improve the lives of all people, not just ones who can afford technology. I am very passionate about helping the marginalized and underserved people of our world and bringing justice to their causes.
Here is a quick but detailed summary of my experiences and skills.
Near-proficient knowledge of the hardware of the standard personal computer, as well as the standard laptop, decent ability to perform repairs/replacements, soldering, preliminary knowledge on the functions of electric circuits and how to construct and replicate them.
Proficiency on all Microsoft Office Suite and related apps, proficiency on browsing the internet/working a computer, basic graphic design and editing using Photoshop and After Effects, basic audio production.
